Car detailing shop

Does anyone know of a good detailing shop? Not just a wash and wax, but a full detailing where they'll clay bar and polish. Thanks in advance!

EDIT:

Actually, I did see this Famous Professional Car Care Ltd. right next door where I got my exhaust installed on Choi Hung Rd. http://goo.gl/maps/fSRd

I saw a few bimmers, audis, mercedes and a lotus there. I'm thinking of going there at the end of the month. Some info I found here http://www.ibike.com.hk/02_mc/famous_care/01.htm

Seems like they're having some DNS problems with their domain name famouscar.com.

Thanks! That place looks pretty good. I like the details they put into cleaning the bikes!

I also found this place: http://www.carslandhk.com/
I wonder if it's any good. I want to call and ask exactly the steps taken for their platinum service. Anyone know what "claybar" is in Chinese?

I called the Kowloon Bay Carsland last week asking what their platinum package includes. Basically they do the full deal with clay bar, polish, wax, etc. But when I asked what products they used for each step, the woman on the phone seemed kinda annoyed by me asking. She just said they use Meguair's products for clay bar. When I asked what products for polishing, she said "even if I tell you, you won't know what it is, we use strong industrial products you can't find elsewhere"...

Although they list the price as $1,500 on their website, she said it may be more depending on the condition of your car. Also, I don't understand why she said they would not be removing the swirl marks on my car, they would only be masking it from their service. But from my understanding of polishing, swirl marks should be removed

Some people say there are a few decent detail shops in matauwei behind the BMW kowloon showroom and to avoid Challenger at all cost because of their rude and pushy sales tactics, but I can't really say since I don't go to challenger often.

Just got my car detailed by Carsland in Kln Bay today. I bought the $650 package for $250 through groupbuy to have a sense of how much care they put into detailing. After today, I would go back to them to have the platinum package done in a few months time. Their facilities are pretty good, with good lighting to see all the swirl marks on your car. The guys there seem to put good care when detailing my car, and seem to be car enthusiasts as well.

The guy I talked to seem to be honest as well, and I clarified with him that the platinum package do in fact remove the swirl marks. They use Meguiar's products for their whole detailing process, however, if you like, they can use Zaino products for an extra cost. Hope this helps anyone considering using them for detailing.

I had the platinum package done at the North Point Carsland a couple of weeks ago. $1600 for my car (may be less for 3er).

I concur with mugen, they are quite pro. The lady owner provided good service. Definitely worth it and I probably with go there for wash and wax from now on. Saw many Porsche, Maserati and exotic cars there.

After the detailing, some plaster felt from the ceiling at where I parked my car. Not sure if someone have tried to clean up and made swirl marks on my hood. The lady owner showed the blemishes to me under their flood lights and offered me to re-do the hood for a partial charge. Will go there again to fix it up and I'll say that's not bad at all for customer care.

Originally I wanted to try Keepre. Went there a few times for wash and there always have long queue and said they are full for the day. And they can't make appointments. Really have to press the luck to see if you can get a wash unless you go there when they open. Kind of ridiculous.

I remember giving a call to Amazing touch to inquire about their services, but their receptionist was quite rude and curt, so I did'nt go there (Hey, if their attitude is that they don't need to treat customers with some basic respect, fine with me, I'll take my business elsewhere). Carsland has better service and manners-washing and waxing wise.

I bought one of those groupons as well, was it relatively easy to book?

I need an interior detail quite badly.

It's easier to book for a weekday appointment. I booked 4 days in advance.

Any group orders could be made?

I asked the Kowloon Bay Branch Manager Roy, 22% off could be offered immediately once choosing over HKD6000 services. He seems nice and honest.

Do you guys we could ask for more discounts if we bought more?

To Mugen: The coating they use is a French Brand called Permangard, which normally applies on aircrafts. Do you think it worths the premium on an used car? You bought the $650 package for $250 through groupbuy to have a sense of how much care they put into detailing.....how did you get this offer? Any group buy for the Platinum package?
